Improve Karkloof

The vision of Improve Karkloof is to promote a safe, clean and caring environment, that is vibrant for investment, and a world-class live, work, play and stay destination that is welcoming to all.

Karkloof Security the contracts Magma Security provides 24 hours security to the area.

The Absa Karkloof Country Club has an outdoor maintenance team that performs various functions at the club, including trail maintenance, event marking and setup, grounds maintenance including the Church, Karkloof Falls maintenance and cleaning.  The Karkloof Team keeps the grass cut on verges and intersections, signage straight, clean and relevant, opens the drains collects the litter.  Communication and marketing of the Karkloof is key to creating the investment that will increase the value of all land in the area.

More recently it has become evident that there is also the need for a fire and disaster management strategy in the valley.  This will include filling points and potentially a Fire Vehicle with bulk water that can be issued to assist at fires.

Improve Karkloof Membership is open to all property owners within the Improve Karkloof boundary who are encouraged to apply for said membership so that they can exercise their rights to influence the business of the Karkloof. Membership cannot be denied, and the property owner is entitled to attend, participate and vote at the meetings held under the auspices of the facilitating vehicle within the Karkloof Club structures.
