Karkloof Accommodation
Aim
The Absa Karkloof Country Club had just over 40 000 visitors last year, at events, and social activities. Many people coming to the area enquire about accommodation and the club would like to promote local accommodation facilities to our customers, and in turn support our community.
Process
The club is updating the website and documents that we send out to members and people entering events and would like to offer local accommodation providers three options to be part of this project. We will also promote the accommodation page through our social media and new letters. The club currently has 9500 FB followers and 3400 on IG and send a newsletter out to over 5000 people monthly.

Option 1
You send us your contact details, and we will put your facility name on an alphabetical list on our website accommodation page, and on promotional material that we send to our customers. You can include a link if you want to.

Option 2
You send us your contact details, and a picture or logo that you want us to use, and we will create a personalised space for you on all our website accommodation page, and promotional material with a link to your own site or booking agent. The club will further recommend your facility to people that contact the club. The club will also display the accommodation available in the trail centre. These personalised spots will be presented above the list of names of accommodation in Option 1.

Option 3
You send us your contact details, and a picture or logo that you want us to use, and we will give you one of 4 large spaces at the top of the accommodation page of the web site, and promotional material with a link to your own site or booking agent. We will also include you in two social media posts per annum on
accommodation in the area. The club will further recommend your facility as one of the top four, to people that contact the club. The club will also display the accommodation available in the trail centre and allow you to have a brochure in the trail centre. These personalised spots will be presented above the list of names of accommodation in Option 1.
The club will do the following:
The club will give you information for your guests about our facilities to have available.
The club will supply you with day visitor permits (Option 2 and 3 only) to administer if you so require, and these include access to the Karkloof Fall and Karkloof Conservancy. This will be done at a 10% discount for you to pass on or as an admin fee to you.
The club will visit your facility to gain an understanding of what you offer and answer any questions you have.
Costs
Option 1 – annual admin fee that includes a visit to your facility R1500
Option 2 – annual admin fee, and marketing fee, that includes a visit to your facility R5000 or R500 per month for 12 months
Option 3 – annual admin fee, and marketing fee, that includes a visit to your facility R12000 or R1200 per month for 12 months.
Visits to your facility are to improve our understanding of your offering.
